Balance in the hustle

Boost Productivity, Wellbeing, and Office Attendance in the Hybrid Era.

And let's not forget the dreaded post-lunch fatigue…

Leading research published in the International Journal of Neuroscience highlights that regular workplace massage has been shown to:

  • lower stress and anxiety levels,

  • improve alertness and morale,

  • reduce job-related depression,

  • enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.

With over a decade of specialised experience delivering office and event massage services to clients ranging from tech giants like Bumble to creative agencies in Shoreditch, I saw an opportunity to raise the bar. I founded Seraphim to excel exclusively in this niche.

Drawing on my first-knowledge, we carefully select a small, top-tier team and ensure they are fairly compensated, allowing us to maintain our exceptional standards. At the same time, by avoiding the overheads of larger companies, we can deliver premium service at exceptional value.

The story behind Seraphim

Hi, I’m Louisa, a devoted advocate for wellness and balance in the everyday hustle.

My journey here wasn’t straightforward. Over the past decade, I've immersed myself in the dynamic world of film production, for corporate giants like INEOS, Santander and Bank of New York, leading fashion brands such as Nike, British Vogue, and Gucci, as well as contributing to an Emmy-winning TV series, amongst other exciting projects. In all these ventures, I noticed a common thread: workplaces can be stressful and chaotic, often resulting in lower performance and burnout. I learned this firsthand...

In my twenties, I took time to travel and heal, which led me to explore holistic practices, particularly massage. Upon returning to the UK, I began my training and integrated these new skills while freelancing in production. I developed a niche in chair acupressure massage, which I offered in workspaces and events. At one stage, this ended up taking me around the world on a televised touring poker tournament—though that's a story for another time.

Refining my expertise as a massage therapist in the workspace, I also noticed high turnover rates among therapists, varied levels of training, inconsistent “techniques”, and a general lack of enthusiasm, often exacerbated by poor pay. I realised that with my skills and experience, I could create a better environment—not just for therapists, but ultimately for the clients as well.

This insight sparked my passion and drove me to found my own company, more aligned with my values, creating a positive impact for both therapists and clients alike. We’re now a small but growing collective of massage therapists and wholistic practitioners in the heart of London, dedicated to crafting a new normal that nurtures ambition without sacrificing balance.
